2026 WWRA State Conference

We are excited to have the 2026 WWRA conference Saturday in Green Bay, Wisconsin at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary (1660 East Shore Drive)! We are looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday February 14th, 2026!

Speaker topics include raccoon rehabilitation, understanding & preventing refeeding syndrome, turtle shell repair, updates from the Wisconsin DNR, troubleshooting neonate rodent formula & digestion, bat rehabilitation, and interpreting pathology reports. As always, the Conference is a great opportunity to meet people, network, and ask questions!

We will have raffle tickets for sale and lots of great baskets to win!

1:15-2pm Third Session of Talks

2:15pm-3pm Fourth Session of Talks

3:15-4pm Last Session of Talks

There will also be a fluids & gavage lab session from 10:30am-12pm, and a raptor handling & conditioning lab from 2:15pm-3:45pm.

Certificates will be available virtually the week after the conference for you to hold onto for your CE credits. You must be a registered conference attendee to receive a certificate. If you do not check in at the registration table in the morning, we cannot be held responsible to tracking you down to confirm attendance.

Due to catering and venue reservation contracts, we regret that refunds are not possible. *

Grants for the 2026 Conference are available. All are welcome to apply for $50 grant to attend the conference. Applications are due January 11th, 2026 and recipients will be notified January 16th. Money will be distributed at the conference.

Demonstration of Raptor operant conditioning with positive reinforcement, use of different equipment (traditional, bullet, braids, clips), and how different species’ personalities impact those conditions. Live birds will be used to demonstrate. This is a hands on lab! There is limited space!
